The undergraduate Finance concentration at William Carey School of Business prepares students success in both finance and business in public, corporate, and governmental organizations. Students will graduate from the program equipped with both a foundational business knowledge and the analytical and professional skills needed to navigate the world of business. Coursework will cover capital markets, investments, bank and capital management, and more.

The business administration major with a concentration in Finance requires the completion of 128 hours. All students must complete 45 hours of professional core requirements and 15-18 hours of a concentration area. This is a standard four-year program.
Delivery Method
General education courses are offered in-person, online, and in hybrid formats which use Canvas as their delivery method. Business Administration courses are offered primarily in-person. This program is offered only at the Hattiesburg campus.
Applicant Prerequisites & Requirements
Prospective students must:
Complete an application for admissions (available here) and pay application fee
Submit all official transcripts, records, and test scores required by the University
Have a minimum high school GPA of 2.0 and a minimum score of 20 on the ACT or 1030 on the SAT
