CIS training at William Carey University focuses on the business applications of various computer systems. Students in this program will learn all about networks, systems, and database administration, along with business analysis and supporting coursework to help them develop a thorough understanding of how technology can be used to improve organizational processes and decisions.

The business administration major with a concentration in Computer Information Systems requires the completion of 128 hours. All students must complete 45 hours of professional core requirements and 15-18 hours of a concentration area. This is a standard four-year program.
Delivery Method
General education courses are offered in-person, online, and in hybrid formats which use Canvas as their delivery method. Business Administration courses are offered primarily in-person. This program is offered at the Hattiesburg and Tradition campuses.
Applicant Prerequisites & Requirements
Prospective students must:
Complete an application for admissions (available here) and pay application fee
Submit all official transcripts, records, and test scores required by the University
Have a minimum high school GPA of 2.0 and a minimum score of 20 on the ACT or 1030 on the SAT
