Accounting Concentration
The undergraduate Accounting program at William Carey School of Business prepares students for successful careers in business accounting. The program provides students with excellent mathematical skills, as well as analytical tools and problem-solving methods. Coursework will include finance, taxation, auditing, and more. Successful completion of this program may prepare students for licensure as a Certified Public Accountant, depending on their state's requirements.

The business administration major with a concentration in Accounting requires the completion of 128 hours. All students must complete 45 hours of professional core requirements and 15-18 hours of a concentration area.
Delivery Method
General education courses are offered in-person, online, and in hybrid formats which use Canvas as their delivery method. Business Administration courses are offered primarily in-person. This program is offered only at the Hattiesburg campus.

Prospective students must:

Have a minimum high school GPA of 2.0 and a minimum score of 20 on the ACT or 1030 on the SAT
